UK search workflow

Local discovery first. Official records where they add confidence.

Each layer answers a different question: which businesses operate here, what they publish about themselves, and which legal entity and people appear in the official register.

01Start with the local market

Ask for a specific UK business category and place, such as independent dental practices in Manchester with a 4.5+ rating.

02Build the business set

Google Places supplies the live local listing: trading name, address, phone, website, rating, review count, and Maps URL when available.

03Read the business website

Orbitreach looks for an explicitly published legal name, company number, founder, owner, director, and professional contact evidence across a bounded set of relevant pages.

04Match Companies House

A published company number is used first. Otherwise, Orbitreach requires a strong legal-name match and uses the local postcode to disambiguate candidates.

05Return people with provenance

A successful match adds the legal company number, active directors or LLP members, and individual persons with significant control, each linked to the official record.

Evidence boundaries

A registry identity is not a contact detail.

Companies House confirms legal identity and public appointments. It does not publish director email addresses or phone numbers, so Orbitreach never labels those as registry data.

About Companies House
Published company numbers take priority over name search.
Name-only candidates need a very strong match; postcode helps disambiguate.
Close or ambiguous candidates are rejected instead of forced.
Only active directors, LLP members, and individual PSC records are returned as people.
Professional contact details require separate public evidence.

UK local business lead finder FAQ

Questions before you search.

Can Orbitreach find UK local businesses that are missing from Apollo?

Orbitreach starts from Google Places instead of a pre-built corporate contact database. That makes it useful when an independent or local UK business is missing or thinly represented elsewhere. Results still depend on what the business, Google, and public registries publish.

Does Companies House provide director email addresses?

No. Companies House provides company and officer identity records, not their email addresses or phone numbers. Orbitreach keeps those sources separate and only shows contact details backed by public website or web evidence.

How does Orbitreach avoid matching the wrong UK company?

It prefers a company number published by the business. When that is unavailable, the matcher requires high normalized name similarity, considers the Google Places postcode, and rejects candidates when the best result is still ambiguous.

Which UK people can deep search return?

A successful Companies House match can return active directors, active LLP members, and individual persons with significant control. Resigned or ceased records are excluded from the contact candidates.
